Minis Presentation
Jon introduced himself as president of our Miniatures Club. They mostly play Battletech but are trying to expand into other games, such as Warhammer, Star Wars, Clix, D&D, etc. They hold meetings every other Friday around 8pm in the SRC North Lounge . Sorry to bother everyone again, but there’s a few procedure changes we want to update everyone on. Over the summer, this year’s officers met frequently during the break to discuss some parts of our constitution that needed to be reviewed. Because of this, our movie reimbursement policy has changed just a little, along with the way we handle memberships. These changes will be reflected in the new constitution. We are planning on discussing the constitution with the club as a whole in the near future as an attempt to bring it more up to date. Below are the changes that were made by the officers over the summer. Please don’t hesitate to ask any of us questions or express concerns.
New Movie Reimbursement Policy!!
Here’s how the reimbursement works. Current and alumni members: This has been changed a little, so please take note.
If you are a current member of the COD Sci-Fi/Fantasy Club, you are eligible for reimbursement of up to $5 for all movies approved by the club. How do you get to be a current member, you ask? Well, all you have to do is pay the annual dues of $5. (See below for more details on the membership changes.)

Welcome Hintsa! We had a new member today and decided to try and make him feel welcomed by laughing and joking with him. We tried to get him to tell us about himself, but we can be a bit overwhelming. Regardless… Welcome!
Movie Reviews
-Prince Caspian: Kristin, Adam and Jenna saw. We all thought it was entertaining and discussed speculation about the next one.
-Indiana Jones: Jenna, Adam, Kristin, RT, Alex and Doc saw this. Jenna fell asleep 30 minutes into it. Everyone else enjoyed it, although some people had issues with Indy and his whip wielding abilities.
-Speed Racer: RT was the only one who saw this and he said it was awesome. Discussion was had about whether or not the movie would be enjoyed while drunk or possibly needing to be drunk afterwards.
